Obituary of Natalie (Tulley) Venora Twoyoungmen

August 6, 1962 – Morley, Alberta

March 19, 2024 – Morley, Alberta

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt, niece, aunty-mom, and cousin, Natalie (Tulley) Twoyoungmen-Richardson on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the age of 61 years, after a short illness.

Tulley was born on August 6, 1962. She was the eldest daughter of Dean Simeon and the late Maryjane Twoyoungmen. Tulley received her education at Morley Community School, Exshaw School, and completed her high school at Spring Bank.

Tulley lived her life to the fullest. Family was very important to her. She was a proud grandmother and especially enjoyed the company of her grandchildren. She was also an Aunty-Mom to her nephews whom she raised as her own, Derrik and Tory. Throughout her life, she had a strong connection with her family (in-laws) and the Twoyoungmen family, who she became a part of the family when she grew up around them at the tender age of fifteen years. Tulley also had a strong bond with her sister-in-law, the late Mary Twoyoungmen.

Tulley, along with her late son James and the family, moved to Ontario for a few years. That was the highlight of her life. She was also gifted with traditional songs. Tulley was a humble person to everyone she met, always greeting and acknowledging her kinship. She was close with her maternal aunties, Madeline and Rebecca Wesley.

Tulley had a kind and gentle soul. She grew up with her lifelong bestie and cousin Angie Beaver, who was more like a sister than a cousin. In Tulley’s childhood, she grew up with a strong belief in Christianity and was raised by her aunt Catherine. Her childhood and growing up with going to the annual Camp Meeting revivals at the late Pete Wesley’s home were important to her. Tulley also respected her traditional values.

Tulley leaves behind to mourn: her loving husband of thirty years, Harley Richardson; her children, Cornell (Holly), Chris, Lewis (Marika), Darcy (Renee), Cha Chee, Derrik (Lynel), Priscilla (Douglas), Tory; her adopted son Randie Jr. (Skyanne); her father Dean; her only brother Daniel (Leota); her sister Lisa (Kyle); the father of her sons Randy (Jackie); her grandchildren, Kayden, Aaliyah, Brailyn, Mathias, Jacob, Jordyn, Perseus, Kadence, Nathan, Liam, Nelly, Dalason, River, Shay, Arielle, Mattea, Sequwen, and Thartien; her nephew Brandon; her niece Beverly; her maternal aunties, Madeline and Rebecca Wesley; her maternal uncles, Everett Wesley, Jackson (Brenda) Wesley; her close maternal cousins, Gertrude, Kathy, Marius, and Ryan; paternal aunties, Catherine Powderface and Marie BullBear; her close paternal cousins that she grew up with, Preston, Randall, Belinda, Benita, Maureen Powderface, and Eva Benjamin; and special sister and cousin Angie Beaver.

Tulley was predeceased by her sons, James Twoyoungmen (2016) and Jordan Twoyoungmen (1983); her granddaughter Helena; her mother Maryjane Twoyoungmen (1997); her sisters, Geraldine Twoyoungmen, Deborah Twoyoungmen, Pamela Twoyoungmen (2006); her brothers, Devon Twoyoungmen (1971), Bryan Twoyoungmen (1973), Leroy Twoyoungmen (2009); her niece Darla Twoyoungmen (2022); her maternal grandparents, Adam Poucette and Ina Wesley (Tom); her paternal grandparents, Walter and Alma Simeon; special uncle Van Poucette; paternal uncles, Bryan and Ivan; and paternal aunt Beverly Simeon.

The family apologizes if we have missed anyone.
