It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Retillia Rabbit, on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the age of 51 years.

 

Retillia is survived by her husband Henry Holloway Jr. (Snider), her children, Paul and Jade (Riel) Rabbit, Anthony and Sam Holloway; and grandsons, Damian, Marten, Charles, and Shawn Rabbit.

 

She is also survived by her sisters, Myrna Rabbit and Trina Rabbit; uncles, Virgle and Audley (Tilda) Stephens, Harvey (Delphine) Rabbit; aunties, Phillomene Stevens, Tracey Stevens, and Una Wesley; as well as numerous relatives and friends. We apologize if we have missed anyone.

 

She received her education at the Morley Community School and attended Mount Royal University. She was brought up the traditional way.

 

Retillia was predeceased by her parents, Harold Stevens and Mildred Baptiste; paternal grandparents, John and Nora Stevens; maternal grandparents, Nelson and Flora Rabbit; brother Sherman Rabbit, son Torrence Rabbit, and nephew William Rabbit.

 

She loved the outdoors, and all family gatherings. She really cherished her grandchildren. Retillia loved her sewing and enjoyed making crafts.

 

Wake Services will be held at the residence of Henry Holloway (Mînî Thnî, AB) on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. Funeral Services will be held at Morley Gymnasium (Mînî Thnî, AB) on Friday, March 29, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Chiniki Cemetery (Mînî Thnî, AB).
