Obituary of Shirley Manifold

May 25, 1930 - Neepawa, Manitoba

March 21, 2024 - Calgary, Alberta

Jean “Shirley” Manifold passed away peacefully on March 21, 2024, at the age of 93 years. She was surrounded by her two daughters Linda and Laura, and son-in-law Jeff in Calgary, AB.

Shirley was born on May 25, 1930, in Neepawa, MB. She was raised on the family farm by her loving parents, Joseph, and Rachel Montgomery, along with her two sisters and two brothers.

Shirley had a passion for horses and enjoyed riding them bareback to school and through the fields. She had a wonderful childhood filled with happy memories on the farm.

Shirley leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her children, Monty (Jean), Laura (Jeff), Linda, Dean, and (Jen); her stepchildren, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews and friends.

She enjoyed many happy years married to Albert (Moose) Manifold living in Cedar Springs, Abbotsford, BC. They loved to travel, golf, and play Bridge for hours.

Shirley will be laid to rest at Carrot Creek Cemetery this summer, where she will be surrounded by her loving family.
