Condolences
Stella,
Stella and Don became a little like parents for us two immigrants as we settled in Calgary.
It was always good to come to Stella’s house; food, laughs and stories galore.
Stella was uninhibited, direct, fresh and her sense of humour always in place.
We will remember her and Don always.
We hope they now have set up court in heaven and entertain the angels.
Susan, Donna and Kathy
Sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. Many good memories of our families Christmas gatherings. Have spoken to your Mom a few times over the last few years and she was always the same Stella, enjoying life.
Our deepest Condolences to your family and friends during your time of sorrow. May you find comfort in the many memories that you recall.
Your are in our prayers thoughts.

Stella,
We both lived on 7th Street.
We both shared June birthdays.
We both went to high school together.
We both traveled together to Edmonton and Winnipeg.
Life was good.
We both got old together.
I know Stella you are not in your wheelchair, you are running down the basketball court.
Rosie Kozoway Claughton
P.S. We have Stella and Rosie dogs in our family now!
Susan, Donna, Kathy and families:
I am so sorry to hear of Stella’s passing. I have nothing but fond memories when I think of her and the Kennard family – especially summers at Elkwater. I pray you can take comfort in knowing your Mom made a true difference to others. May your precious memories of her live forever in your hearts.
The Naylor family have known the Kennard family since 1963. Stella, Don and their kids were all our favourites over the years. We were neighbors in Medicine Hat, and Calgary and enjoyed fishing and other activities (including Esso conventions) over the years. Stella was a very special, fun loving person. She will always be lovingly remembered by all of us. We will miss her but never forget her. Condolences to all her loved ones.
You were one in a billion Stella. So welcoming to us when we first met, so generous throughout the years, so feisty, so fun to sit and have a chat with. You will be always be remembered by us . Yvanne, Marsh, Ruso, Stella and Tru
My mom always brightened up when Mrs Kennard visited her. They were both strong women and I remember my mom smuggling wine up to her room at Mckenzie and the two of them like teenagers giggling about their escapades. Mrs. Kennard called my mom her little butterfly and we are grateful for the times they enjoyed together. I know she will be missed by all.
Our deepest condolence to the Kennard Family on the passing of your mother. We have lots of great memories of Stella and Don.
