Obituary of Jason William MIDDLETON

Jason Middleton, beloved son of John (Lila) Middleton and Gayle (Bob) Reddekopp of Calgary, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, September 5, 2014 at the age of 27 years.
Jason had a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Education. He was teacher with the Calgary Board of Education and also taught abroad in London, England, where he was adored by his students and fellow teachers. He had a long career with City of Calgary as a CPIC Operator and also with Parks & Recreation. Jason loved watching and playing hockey. He was an avid sports and outdoor enthusiast. Jason was known to be a globetrotter especially with his beloved travelling and napping companion, his ever-present best friend, his sheepdog Cash.
Besides his parents, Jason is survived by his siblings, Shannon Middleton and Mark Middleton, both of Calgary; grandmothers, Shirley Middleton of Calgary and Lois Lohnes of Cobourg, ON; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and an unforgettable extended family as well as innumerable loyal and cherished friends from around the world. He loved his family and friends and that love was returned immeasurably. Jason was predeceased by his grandfathers, Ed Middleton and Clare Lohnes.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Chapel of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
