Condolences
Sending my Condolances to the family of Ray & Ethel Kemp.
I looked up the names to happily find Ray and Ethel in hopes to share a memory with them and now respectfully sending my condolances . Praise God they will spend eternity with thier Lord and saviour.
I looked them up as they were close friends at one point with my parents as I came across a marriage certificate and Ray and Ethel witnessed my parents matrimony at St. Pauls United Church back in 1957.
My Father ( Rene LeGuyder) passed away some time ago and my Mom (Bernadine LeGuyder) just passed away this morning.
Had to share and hope they are meeting up again.
Sincerely,
Richard LeGuyder
To a life well lived……
I was saddened to hear of the passing of my great dear Uncle Ray; I have many fond memories of him and his family. My Uncle Ray had incredible spirit and a beautiful sense of family. My favorite early memories with the Kemp family were when we all gathered for family barbeques at the Lake Bonavista house where Uncle Ray was the master at barbequing. Plenty to do, sing- a -longs, card games, monopoly, stock ticker to name a few. The summers were the best as we often went to Lake Bonavista Lake for family picnics and swimming. Uncle Ray was a lover of golf, he constructed putting holes in his immaculate well-kept backyard. As I remember on many occasions, he hosted several Grey Cup parties! Uncle Ray was an avid football fan, great fun to all!
As I mentioned, a great sense of family ties, the memories of the Kemps and Flegel’s were endless. Great debates and not to mention the favorite Trivial Pursuit games that would go into the early hours of the morning. Uncle Ray was funny with his dry humor and very knowledgeable on several topics. I quite enjoyed watching the adults debate politics, it was comical because sometimes it was very expressive. (I’m giggling).
The most endearing quality of my Uncle Ray was that he was very committed to his family and his dear wife Ethel. You have been reunited with your parents, Ethel and Joanne.
