Condolences
Mrs. Rappel was my teacher for grades 5 and 6 at St Luke over 45 years ago. I still remember her gentle nature.

Heartfelt Condolences to the Rappel Family, Uncle Larry, Linda, James, Michelle and Families. May the memories of such a Beautiful Soul, your wife, mother, and grandmother fill the emptiness of her loss. And may the sound of her laughter continue to fill your hearts, each and every day. May God Bless the Rappel Family.
Dear Larry and Family.
There are few words that offer solace as this time, but we hold many fond memories of Gerry and your family out at the lake. Always a kind word and infectious smile. Words cannot express the sadness we feel for your loss. Please accept our condolences and know we are thinking of you.

Dear Larry and family. Gerry was one of my dearest friends and I will cherish the times we had together. She would light up every room she entered and she always made my life brighter. We recently shared a week together in Florida and I will cherish those last happy memories. Frances Zaborniak

Dear Larry & Family
Please accept my sincere sympathy & prayers on the death of "Gerry". She retired the same year (1993) as my husband Dick and I. Those were the good old ATA days. I'm not sure whether you heard that Dick passed away suddenly on Sept. 11, 2020. Sorry I can't make it for the Funeral. Hope you are OK.
Sincerely,
"Jan" Dunnigan
Larry, my sincere sympathies accompany you. Chère Michelle, je me souviens magnifiquement de toi comme élève. Je te souhaite le bonheur de la communion avec ta Maman réssuscitée près de toi.
Sincere condolences to the whole family.
Gerry Rappel or known as in her single life as Gerry Courchene was a very dear friend that I went to high school with, and she was a very cheerful and happy young woman, and a very caring person. Gerry and I were in school together from 1947 to 1952 at the Académie Assomption in Edmonton. I will miss my caring friend,
love

Such a sad time for you all. Gerry was such a kind lady with a such a love for life and her family. I am so glad I was fortunate enough to have a chat with her not so long ago. May you all cherish the wonderful memories you have shared over all the years and let them remain in your hearts forever.
Geri, Ron, and family
My family and I are very saddened to hear of Gerry’s passing. I met Gerry Rappel around 1983 when her daughter Michelle and I became best friends. She was memorable from that first meeting! She was so kind, welcoming, funny and more “herself” than perhaps anyone I’ve met since, in the very best way. ❤️ What a delightful shining light! She will be missed.

To Larry and Germaine’s children:
Germaine, your wife and mother, and I met in Grade 7 and graduated from High School together in Edmonton. Though thousands of miles separated us throughout our lives we always kept in touch.
There was no one in this world like Gerry… her bubbly personality and laughter were magnetizing.
Gerry was a phenomenal woman and she had infinite love for each of you individually. Hold on to that infinite love and let it be your guiding light.
My deepest and sincere heartfelt sympathy to each of you.
Know, I will miss my “forever friend” and her conversations sign-offs “Je t’aime.” to which I would reply “Love ya, too!” And, now I say to you, Gerry, ….- “Ce n’est qu’un …Au revoir! Love ya!”
