I'll remember Tony as a kind and humorous man, and a gracious host. I was treated to his famous Brick Chicken, and it was delicious! His adventures with the RV included trips downtown for music festivals. I'm reminded of him every time I see an A&W, and think about Jan's pride in the trips and other rewards that he earned with his work. He touched a lot of lives, and it was no surprise that their house was crowded with friends, relatives and coworkers yesterday. Rest in peace, Tony. Your struggles are over, and your heart is healed. - Diane Nickel
Condolences to the whole family on Tony's passing. Tony, you were such a steady and helpful person and always ready to engage. I admired your perseverance in overcoming health problems and in doing a good job all the time- especially in the hands-on part of the food industry.. Many thanks to the family for being such great neighbors for all those years (35 yrs): Merv, Mary, Mark, Janice, Tony, Jennifer, and Katie. And many thanks for continuing the hospitality and friendship through all of the following 30 years! Love to you all,
Liz Wilson
To the family of Tony. We are so grateful to have known him and will treasure memories forever. May you rest in Peace.
Dearest Jan, Jennifer and Nader, Grandsons Hani, Zaiden and Malek, Katie and Tanner and Grand dog Hank,
Tony has been a big part in the Thivierge family's lives. He was a true friend to Joe and we have always considered all of you as family. After Joe's passing the whole Klein family provided unlimited support and love. Tony was funny, loving, hard working, smart and special in so many more ways. Know that Jason and Pam and family, Chelsea and Doogie and family have nothing but fond memories of Tony and his whole family.
I am confident that Jan and the whole family will have great support from all their lifelong friends to help in healing from such a loss.
Love you all very much,
Sue
We are so sorry to hear of Tony’s passing. Memories of family holiday feasts at Fairmont and Calgary, and playing shark with the girls at the Fairmont Hot Springs pool are our fondest. Rest in peace Tony and our sympathies to all.
