Obituary of Carole Mae Day

December 26, 1938 – Edmonton, Alberta

April 12, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with sadness we announce that our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and artist Carole Day, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the age of 85 years.

Carole was born in Edmonton and came to Calgary after High School. She graduated from both ACAD Visual Arts and SAIT Library Technology programs.

Carole retired from the Calgary Public Library after nearly twenty years.

She enjoyed teaching child art and then adult art classes.

Carole created beautiful paintings, often inspired by many years of hiking and taking photos in the mountains.
