Cecile and family Karen and my deepest condolences on the passing of Clarence. Always a pleasure to see him whether at the golf course or the curling rink. Never saw him in a bad mood in the 20 years I knew him… a very special man.

My deepest condolences to Cecile, Ratelle and Raechelle and to all the grandchildren. Clarence will be missed by all who knew him. Clarence was a very humble man and a friend to everyone. I will always remember him for his easy going nature and his love for curling and playing golf especially after his retirement.

Praying for hope, peace and comfort to the family. Cecile, may God’s love and grace fill your heart and give you strength in the days ahead.

It is a very shocking incident Clarence Roy I am very shocked he was one of my proudest and favorite boss Clarence I have known him since 2007 I was a New Camer from Africa to Canada with Poor English giving me morale and support to continue with Thermal God keep you in his right hand May God grant you and your entire family consolation, Amen

I only met Clarence a couple of times when he came to help us at Crystal Ridge Golf Club last summer, he just seemed to be one of those people that you would love to sit with over beer and talk.

Condolences. I have so many great memories of hanging out in the backyard and ‘helping’ in the garden! Also fun times learning to ride horses in fairmont hotsprings and Clarence making sure we had a great time.

My family and I have very fond memories of Coach Cross, from the hockey rink to the ball field. I recall his calm demeanour, and his fiery enthusiasm, too. But what I’ll always remember is his great laugh! So good.

He was a great man.
