Obituary of Carol Anne Kublik

Carol Anne Kublik of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at the age of 73 years.

She is survived by her children: Connan (Brenda), Rowan (Carmen), and Devan (Kyle); her partner Larry, and her grandchildren: Kira (Judah), Brysan, Evan, Rylan, Taeva, Kellan, and Brogan. She was predeceased by her father Albert Sept, stepfather Ed Stahl, mother Anne, and her brother Ron.

Carol was born in Medicine Hat, AB, but moved to Edmonton and later to Calgary and Okotoks. She had a passion for music and was a classically trained singer. She loved Opera and enjoyed many seasons of concerts at the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra. She also loved reading, hiking, and skiing. She had a particular love for Bubble tea and took great delight in introducing her grandchildren to it!

Carol’s last seven years were difficult due to a severe brain injury that left her in need of round-the-clock assistance. The family would like to thank AgeCare Midnapore for their tireless and kind care for Carol during this time.

Memorial Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
