Obituary of Isaiah Emenike Chinda

April 17, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

With intense sadness and cherished memories, we honor the brief yet profound life of Sabbath Brother Isaiah Emenike Chinda, our beloved stillborn child, born silently on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 27 weeks at home in Calgary, AB.

Our precious little chap was the adored baby of Mr. & Mrs. Barikpoa Wisdom Emenike Chinda. Isaiah was an active baby who loved to play in the womb. In the months leading up to Isaiah's birth, our family eagerly awaited his arrival, filled with dreams, and hopes for the future. Each ultrasound scan visit at the hospital was a delight and an opportunity to watch him play. We lovingly prepared to welcome our new addition into our lives, with boundless love and devotion. However, it was with heavy hearts that we learned our precious baby had already become an angel, leaving us with cherished memories and unfulfilled dreams.

Isaiah is lovingly remembered by his mom Barikpoa Nwako and dad Chinda Wisdom Emenike, aunties, uncles, and grandparents. Our little one may have been with us for only a brief moment, but the love and joy he brought will endure, forever. May his soul find rest in the bosom of the Lord.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the South Health Campus, Seton, maternity medical staff who supported us during this difficult time, as well as the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star family and friends for their unwavering love, kindness, and support.

A Graveside Service will be held at the Prairie Sky Cemetery (12350 84 St SE, Calgary, AB) on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
