It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear son Tyson on Monday, August 25th at the age of 21 years.
He is survived by his parents Kevin and Lynne Cook, half-sister Cherie, niece Karianna, grandparents Ken Cook, Jeanette and Philip Lagace, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandmother Arlene Cook.
Tyson was a sports enthusiast and during his young life had played baseball, hockey, basketball, football and loved going to the gym. Born in Winnipeg, he grew up in Northwest Calgary graduating from Saint Francis High School in 2010. He was employed at ATCO Gas for the past three years at Crowfoot and more recently at the Red Deer Operations Centre. Many family vacations were enjoyed that saw him travel to different parts of the globe that included, Mexico, Jamaica, Cuba, Europe, Panama, Dominican Republic, and numerous locations through out the United States. Whether it was zip-lining, jet-skiing, snorkeling, shark fishing or just chillin’ by the pool, Tyson loved vacationing and together many memories were made that we will cherish forever. Tyson was a kind and caring young man that will be missed by everyone that knew him. A private family service will be held. Flowers gratefully declined.
