Dearest George, Bella and Hannah:

I send my utmost regrets to your family at this saddest of times. Paty will be remembered as a loving, compassionate soul. The Lord has a special lady with him now.

I believe, as Gibran writes, "...For life and death are one, even as the river and the sea are one."

We will remember Paty’s genuine kindness. Every time we saw her she would smile and ask us how we’re doing. She never failed to connect with us despite how she was feeling.

Paty my sissy. You always called me little sissy . You were my refuge for 10 years when I was alone in Alberta and away from my family. But your presence beside me and my husband and kids on daily basis made us feel that we are not alone and we have a sister. When Joey one day was crying and jealous that he has no cousins around you told him Hannah is your cousin and until this day he calls Hannah and Bella cousins and explain to people that we are far related. My Paty, you left us so early but you will never be forgotten because it’s impossible to forget your laugh, your generosity, your care and your love. I was planning to surprise you on your 50th birthday this December but you decided to celebrate it with Jesus in heaven and that is your real place. Rest in peace my dear. No one can replace you in my heart.

There isn't a woman I know that knew more about makeup and cosmetics than she did.
