Condolences
Vlad will be greatly missed. He was a character. We would see him almost every day to have a brief chat of what he saw in the Weaslehead. He always had a story to tell about his animal friends in the park. He was so active. He would be down in the Weaslehead in the Summer covered in mosquito netting. Nothing would stop him from going down to the Weaslehead. Whether it was really cold or really hot, whether there were all kinds of mosquitoes, or even black bears, he would make sure he went down to the Weaslehead to see his animal friends. We will miss Vlad so much.
On behalf of The Weaselhead / Glenmore Park Preservation Society's Board and Naturalists, I offer our sincere condolences for the Passing of Vlad. His love for the Park and its wildlife was boundless. He truly cared for their well being. He will be missed.

We are sorry for your loss. Vlad was very special and loved the outdoors. We spoke with him almost every day on his walks down into the Weaslehead natural area. Sometimes he would be the whole day down there and we would meet him again on his return. He loved being with the deer, moose, coyotes, squirrels and birds. He loved to take pictures of them, often sending us copies of his photos. He told us that he had a name for each deer. He knew them by sight. We are sure that his beloved animals will miss him. Our 3 little dogs also loved him and they often ran over to greet him. They also will miss seeing him every day as we do.
