Obituary of Jim Cameron

June 8, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

James “Jim” Huolt Cameron, beloved husband of Barbara Cameron (nee McClean), of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the age of 88 years.

Jim was cherished and loved by his wife, Barbara; his three daughters Judith (Conrad), Wendy (Karl), and Nancy (Gerry); his brother Ian (Lorraine). Jim was predeceased by his parents, John (1984) and Ina (1994) Cameron.

A Celebration of Jim’s Life (his Retirement Party) will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. The family invites everyone to wear red to the celebration, if they so choose.

Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mr. Cameron's service streamed live (see link below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted.
