It is with Sadness, to hear of Art's passing. I hadn't caught up with him over the last year or so, and now missed the chance. Art and myself worked together at Murphy, and had mutual friends up in the Slave Lake and Peace River areas. We'd been fishing a few times, travelled to catch a blue jays game in Toronto. Laughter was always involved with fond memories. You will be missed Art, my thoughts are with your family.
Dear Annette, Charles and Arty’s family and friends
So sorry to hear of Arty’s sudden passing. I fondly remember Arty as he grew up in Thorhild and his friendship to my children.
Rest in peace Arty.
Going to miss Art, we first worked together in 1999 at Endril and throughout the years at Murphy and CNRL. We became really close over the years. Travelling up to Thompson Manitoba, Puerto Vallarta, fishing on the Bow, quading in the mountains and many camping trips together. We have had many conversations on growing plants and talking about travelling.
Arty was a great friend to anyone who had the pleasure of getting to know him. We used to talk on the phone for hours when we were younger and he was always so proud of his little brother and his big sister who helped raise him. It was an honour to be able to be his friend and he will be forever missed by the lives he touched. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. He will always be remembered for his unique laugh and big smile and great heart .❤️
Our condolences go out to all the family. I never knew Art in his younger years but got to work with him in the in the Slave Lake area completing well site Reclamations and abandonments. Great common sense guy and glad to have met him he was sure fun to work with.
My heartfelt condolences go out to Arty's family. I'm deeply saddened to hear about the loss of a high school friend from CTCS. May fond memories of his warmth and positivity bring comfort during this difficult time.

After my brother passed away at a young age Art became a brother to me. Often taking me under his wing to make sure I was okay. I was grateful in my adult life to be able to reconnect and share some new memories with him. I'm so deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Sending my love and condolences to his family and friends. He's with my bro Jay again ❤️

I was so saddened to hear of Art’s passing. I know not a day went by that he wasn’t living it up to the fullest. Art taught me never to wait to live out your dreams, passions, and adventures. I have been living just that way ever since I met him. He has always held a special place in my heart and I know that free spirit of his will continue to live on forever. He was one of the most adventurous and exciting people I’ve ever known. My thoughts go out to Annette and the rest of the family. May all your beautiful memories of fun and laughter give you peace and healing through this time. Adventure on, my friend Art!

Sending my condolences to the family. I grew up with Arty, we danced Ukrainian dancing together, and my fondest memory is dancing together at one of the Radway dances to my favorite song Red Red Wine. While we lost touch in our adult years, he has always been someone who had an impact on others. Sending you peace and love Arty!
