Condolences
Our condolences to Don's children and siblings on the loss of your Dad and brother. 53 years of friendship and 3 times neighbors brings back many memories, too many to post. We enjoyed many holidays together and you were always happy to see us especially when I was walking in with fresh baked cookies. We will miss you dearly old buddy, from Frieda and Gordie.
Our condolences to your entire family. Don was a real character and I loved his direct approach and dry sense of humor. You always knew where you stood with Don. He was generous to a fault. When we went to Phoenix with Lori and Leonard he gave us his house so we could stay together and he stayed at another family member’s home. His hospitality made us feel very welcome and we could tell Don loved having people around

I did not know Don, but I do know his daughter, Lori. Raising a daughter as kind, authentic and loving as Lori gives credence to the obituary description of her father, Don. My heart aches for the loss to his family but I truly believe that Don is not gone, just gone before. He has earned his Crown. Those left behind still have earthly challenges; they now have another angel to guide them. May Don’s memories sustain you while moving forward. Love, Sandie McBrien
