Condolences
Ruth was my Aunt she was my dad’s older sister; and I always had the impression she was looking out for him, trying to steer him into the right path. Which was difficult because he wasn’t one to listen to the advice of others. I remember Ruth as very devoted to my grandmother, and she moved back home to Moose Jaw to care for her the last years of her life.
Ruth was also a loving and devoted mother as well as a powerfully loving and devoted grandmother. I know from my own experience the hole that is left when parents pass from our lives, through death to the spiritual plain. It is sad and painful and is the natural order of life. We all end up orphans eventually. My heartfelt condolences go out to Rachel, Stan and Raissa; you are in my prayers. Ruth lived a long, eventful and interesting life. I know she will rest in peace.
My condolences Rachel, such a sad time but blessed with many happy memories. Ruth was so outgoing and adventurous. Like driving all the way to Vancouver with you and three siamese cats in a station wagon - that made quite an impression on my young self. You were the light of her life. May she rest in peace with Grandma and Grandpa.
We offer our condolences to Ruths’s family. She was a beautiful woman that was very considerate and thoughtful to her friends and others. She always adored her family members. Rachel was a special loving caretaker to Ruth for many years.
Connie and Bill Higerd.
