Condolences
Deepest condolences... My family (the Genelle Foys) are praying your family finds peace and strength as you mourn the loss of David. We will remember him and the Maryka family with the fondest of memories.
My dad coached David in soccer along with his many friends; the Monteiths, the Gerards, the Corbets, the Leavitts, the Rogers, the Hardings, David Langille, Ian Gourlie, Doug Swanson, Bobby Hodgson and many others. My dad has many happy memories of this gang and remembers David for his infectious smile and his "right wing cross".
I was a few years younger than David (just younger than Steve), but in addition to my soccer memories I remember the endless supply of "hand me downs". Many of my childhood photos would feature the same clothes David wore in his childhood photos thanks to Maryka generosity. He was also the cool older brother when I was at Maryka's enjoying the home made foosball table, or black plastic pool, or crazy toboggan ride. My first introduction to Cat Stevens was in David's basement where he had a home made light organ hooked up to his stereo. Great memories...
We will remember David as kind and talented with an infectious smile and laugh. We wish you peace and strength and an endless supply of fond David memories. Martin Foy
Sorry to hear about Dave's passing. Many fond memories of tobogganing, skating on the homemade rink, and hanging out in the giant willow tree. Hope that good memories will help you through this sad time.
We were so sad to hear the news that Dave had passed. I have many fond memories of Dave and our neighbourhood gang growing up. Lots of fun times and the most amazing toboggan run at Dave’s house. I always thought of him as very easygoing with heart warming laugh.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of David. We playing a lot of soccer together, partied together, and had a lot of laughs.
I haven't seen him for a number of years, but I remember a fun loving, gentle, caring fellow who was always a joy to be around. He will be missed be his old teammates and partying buds.
