Lydia Shaddick was born in Barons, AB, on August 2, 1935, and passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the age of 88 years.
She graduated from Barons Consolidated School in 1953 and attended Secretarial College in Seattle, Washington, returning to Alberta in 1954. Lydia worked in Lethbridge until the fall of 1955 and then moved to Calgary, where she has resided since.

Lydia was dedicated to family and friends, always ready to offer assistance and guidance. She was a wonderful, loving, and caring mother, grandmother, and friend, who will be sadly missed by all who had the good fortune to have known her.
