Marilyn Nielsen, beloved wife of Paul Nielsen, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the age of 71 years.
Marilyn was born in Drumheller, AB, and raised on the Axelsen family farm. Having raised a 4H calf gave Marilyn the ideals of hard work and financial wisdom. The money raised from the sale of this calf was invested and put towards her first house purchase.
Marilyn enjoyed skiing, cycling, hiking, dancing, and games. She worked for the Bank of Montreal for 35 years, and her favourite part was helping people with their finances.
