Condolences
Hello wayne & Family,
So, so sorry to hear about the sudden death of Shirley. I know she was the firecracker of your life, always full of spark! My heart goes out to you and your family for your loss.
Gordon MacInnis ( PEI cousin) and family,
On behalf of my family, I extend heartfelt sympathy to the Cox, Siddall and MacKay families. As an older PEI cousin, Shirley’s family and mine, spent our early years on the Island, living in close proximity to each other, as well as our grandparents.
Shirley was a happy, entertaining cousin, who always seemed to bring smiles and energy to the group of at family gatherings. In later years, at family reunions, we always welcomed and remembered Shirley’s sparkling smile and warm personality. Our thoughts are with Aunt Audrey and all of Shirley’s family at this most difficult time.
Wayne, Erin, Andrew and family,
We are so sad to hear the news of Shirley's passing. Our deepest sympathy to you and the family. She was always welcoming, kind hearted and a third grandma to our children. We will miss Mimi and cherish the memories we have of her. Lean on family and friends for support during this difficult time.
Love,
Scott, Shauna, Mitchell, Chantel and Harper Brady
The news of this tragic event was an enormous shock to our family. Shirley was special and had a huge effect on our family as one of the kindest, giving, and fun people. As a friend of 46 yrs to my parents, her absence is deeply felt. We pray for the healing of all the hearts she touched.
I was a classmate and friend of Shirley’s sister Bethany with many memories of Shirley and her sunlit personality. She brought laughter and smiles in her wake. I am so sorry to read of her loss in such a tragic manner and send deepest condolences.
My deepest sympathies to John and the entire Family on the passing of Shirley. Was very saddened to hear this and am keeping you in my thoughts. Blessings to all,

I was shocked and deeply saddened when I heard of the tragic death of Shirley MacKay. I knew Shirley in high school and university and she was a wonderful friend and athlete. My deepest condolences to Audrey and the entire family. Gary Campbell
Shirley was the very first person to introduce herself and welcome me to the Aquafit group at the Winter Club. As a newbie who felt like a “fish out of water” Shirley’s lovely smile, warm welcome and invitation to coffee group meant a lot to me. Although I did not know her for long, her kindness and light shone brightly. Thinking of all of her family at this difficult time.
Shirley was truly an energetic, outgoing, positive, fun person who brought a lot of laughter and joy to all who were fortunate to know her. Our condolences to her friends and family. Michael Kennedy and Carrie.
