Fawn Ellis, beloved wife of Jason Ellis, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the age of 51 years.

Born in Calgary, AB, on August 25, 1972, Fawn was a loving wife and mother, and an amazing daughter. She loved to take care of her boys, as well as all her many friends that she cultivated loving relationships with.

Making sure that no big events went unnoticed, she celebrated with her friends during the good events and consoled during the bad. Fawn was always bubbly and outgoing, quite the social butterfly. She was always a joy to be around. She always made sure to tell us all how much she loved us. Fawn was an exceptionally kind-hearted and loyal friend. She was always fun and had the most contagious laugh and sense of humor.

She loved her son Jeremy. She would sometimes say that it hurt how much she loved him and how proud she always was of him. Fawn took so much pride in making sure Jeremy had everything he needed.

Fawn loved traveling with her boys. She especially loved the trip we took last summer; a road trip down the coast to San Francisco. It was an adventure and we all reveled in our closeness. She loved every minute of that trip.

She loved Jason and Jeremy to pieces, the family unit she built was something anyone would look to have in their lives. She was unforgettable and will forever be in everyone’s hearts that she has touched over the years.

Fawn is survived by her loving husband Jason, her beautiful son Jeremy, parents, Ian and Margaret Lees; niece Vegas Oliver; Betty and Gerald Ellis; Drew (Sam) Ellis and their children Zander and Darian; Adam (Lori) Ellis and their daughter Teagan McAngus; Rory (Jessica) Ellis, Trepanier, Tremblay, Oliver, and Gegear families; as well as Christine McBride, Brianne, Maren, Reid, and their families.

She was predeceased by her brother Ian Lees Jr. and her uncle Rod McBride.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Crowfoot, 82 Crowfoot Circle NW, Calgary, AB), on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.

Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mrs. Ellis’ service streamed live (see link below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted.
