Condolences
Mr. Clayton introduced me to fishing. I was a teen at the time and friends with his daughter Nancy. We went to Chain lakes and he took us out on a boat. I caught so many rainbow trout that day, and even though I don’t like fish, Stan cooked us fish for supper and it was the only fish I have ever enjoyed eating. My deepest condolences to the family. Special hugs to Nancy from me, Diane Brosens. ❤️
Stan Clayton met my father Bruce Dennis through an Anglican youth group in Edmonton in the late 1940s, and they remained lifelong friends. I could express our condolences from our family to yours, but to the Dennis family, Stan was a part of our family, and we knew him simply as "Uncle Stan". In his life and character Stan personified the Scripture in Micah 6:8: "Seek justice; love mercy; walk humbly with God".
