Obituary of Rhoda Ann Stevens

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, Rhonda Stevens, on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the age of 57 years.

Rhonda is survived by her husband Blair, her children, Clarissa, Daisy, Tylin, Tannyan, Laurel, and Neesha Stevens; her mother Madeline Stevens, sister Verna Amos, brothers, Randall Stevens, Floyd Amos, Sherman Stevens, and Clarence Holloway; as well as numerous relatives from Morley and Eden Valley.

Rhonda received her education at Morley School. She enjoyed participating in sports such as baseball in her prime year. She was a strong believer in her Stoney Nakoda culture and ceremonies.

Rhonda will be greatly missed for her kindness, generosity, and her humorous personality. Known for her ability to captivate a crowd with her countless jokes, her humour was infectious. Above all, she loved all her children very much and will be dearly remembered.

Rhonda was predeceased by her father Laurier Hunter, and her sons, Christopher and Dallas Stevens.

Wake Services will be held at the residence of Erica Simeon (Mînî Thnî, AB) on Sunday, May 12, 2024. Funeral Services will be held at Morley United Church (Mînî Thnî, AB) on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Bearspaw Cemetery (Mînî Thnî, AB).
