Obituary of Bernetta Collins

February 12, 1928 – Humbolt, Saskatchewan

May 13, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bernetta Collins on Monday, May 13, 2024, at the age of 96 years.

Bernetta’s family was her world.  She was a devoted and loving wife and mother. Her grandchildren will forever remember her generosity, kindness, and love.

Bernetta will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Carol (David) and Mary Beth (Mark); grandchildren Christine (Sab), Mark (Britt), Andrew (Tori), Scott and James; and her great-grandchildren David and Frankie. Bernetta is predeceased by her parents Mary and Ferdinand; her loving husband (her “One and Only”) Thomas; her sons, Earl, and Terry; and her son-in-law David.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the staff at Walden Age Care for their exceptional care, grace, and support.

As per Bernetta’s wishes a private family service will be held and she will be laid to rest at Cochrane Cemetery beside her husband.
