Obituary of Robert Edgar McLennan

Robert “Bob” McLennan of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully at the Rockyview General Hospital after a recent illness, on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at the age of 87 years. Bob McLennan was the beloved husband to his wife Zona, and the son of Matilda (Tilly) and Edgar.

A graduate of the University of Toronto (1959), Bob worked in the oil industry as a geologist at companies including Mobil Oil, before starting his own company, and then becoming a consultant. He retired in 2002. Bob enjoyed spending time in his yard and sailing the Glenmore Reservoir on his boat.

Besides his loving wife Zona, Bob is survived by his three children: his daughter Jodi, and his two sons, Mike (Sara) and Dan (Michelle); and their children, Matthew “Matt”, Noah, and Katherine “Kate”.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
