Condolences
Uma bua was my father’s youngest sibling and sister. What can I say - she was kind, beautiful, generous and loving. The world will truly be poorer for her passing. May she rest peacefully. Om Shanti
Uma Bhua was truly one of a kind. My memories of her, in her beautifully kept apartment are so special and poignant. More so as my father was also there… She was my father’s youngest sister.
I remember her cooking breakfast for us and making me a BLT sandwich as I did not want the Indian breakfast the rest were enjoying. Snippets of conversation come to my mind, she telling me about her love of golf, spending evenings with friends and how she kept herself so busy with no time to spare. She never tired of telling us about Naveen, Tina and her grandchildren. She regaled us with stories of her yearly trips to Alberta and the wonderful times spent with her family. She told us of the lovely early morning aroma’s of Tina’s baking that would waft to her room.
Uma Bhua, we love you and how I wish I had spent some more time with you.
Naveen and Tina, our deepest sympathies. May The Almighty grant her soul eternal peace
