Albert, I was shocked to hear Bob had passed.
He was always one cool cat, that seemed to have it all figured out.
My sincerest condolences.

Albert, we were so shocked and saddened to hear of Bob's passing and are sending you and the rest of Bob's friends and family our deepest condolences. He was hands down the best neighbor and often went above and beyond for us (as I'm sure you knew). We had the pleasure of being Bob's neighbor in Calgary for 8 years. He was the first to introduce himself to us when we moved into the neighborhood, and he was always the first to pop by when he saw us outside. He was always there for our family and we are forever grateful for his presence. We've missed him since he moved to Kelowna and will miss him even more now. We are honored to have known him, have a beer with him, and share stories together. Thanks, Bob, for always taking care of our beloved dog, Daz (he also recently passed over the rainbow bridge, say hi to him for us!). Love Phil, Michelle, Jaci, Ethan and baby Ramsey (who wasn't born yet before you left calgary).
Dear Albert,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this challenging time.
Words cannot express how deeply sorry we are for your loss.
Bob’s spirit will always shine through you, and his memory will be a source of strength.
Condolences,
Nino, Lil, and Michael Belvedere

My condolences to Bobs family. i am really, really shocked and gutted to hear of his passing. Bob and i sat next to one another for a few years at The City. We had some good laughs. I'd often sit back and listen to his enthusiastic stories (he was always enthusiastic about his adventures) about his hunting/fishing trips, his buddies outside of work (the Shadow, Sticks and Stones, Bucky) and he never failed to make me laugh. we had an ongoing 'discussion' of what was a true sport, and for Bob it was baseball. 'why?' I'd always ask, knowing what was to come. and bob would always respond with 'because you got running, hitting, and you got catching'. Bob loved his baseball! it was mentioned that Bob wasn't tech savvy. and i often had to remind him to lock his computer when stepping away from his desk, which of course he didn't and so I'd modify his font size, or background settings, and upon his return he would yell 'Damit Jimi!' followed by a good laugh.
Bob, you are and always will be a legend. you will be missed, immensely!
My deepest condolences to the family, I had the opportunity to work with Bob and I will always remember his smile and charisma.
I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn about the sudden passing of Bobby. His absence will surely be felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his soul rest in peace. Sincerely, Debbie Meili.
Just gutted to learn of Bob's passing this afternoon. Was hopping to get to Kelowna this summer to play some golf with Bob and Albert.
My sincere condolences Albert ...
Sorry to hear of Bob’s passing. He always had a smile and a hello when we passed each other in the hallway at the City of Calgary. Condolences to the family.
To the Karulovic Family and Friends, I am so sorry for your loss. I first met Bob in the 80's when he was with Engineering Services, I was in Transportation Planning. We criss-crossed paths through to the early 2000's where I had the opportunity to to work with Bob in Bylaw Review, Planning Services. He was professional and knowledgeable throughout his career. Bob will be truly missed.

I am shocked and saddened by the news of Bobby K. I was fortunate enough to have had several years alongside Bob at the City of Calgary and for a few wonderful golf sessions. My family and I send our heartfelt condolences to the family and hope in time that you will enjoy the memory of an absolutely wonderful character in Bob. Will miss him.

Dear Albert & Family,
I am so saddened to hear of Bobby's passing. He was a truly kind soul and will be greatly missed. "Uncle Bobby" was one of my Dad's best friends. Bobby always made us kids feel included at all the Animal's Ball games and always came equipped with a giant tub of Double Bubble Gum. His nick name from us kids was "Bubble Gum Bobby." He was always there for us and was a true friend to our family. He always remembered my birthday even when I was a pain in the butt moody teenager. Always very thoughtful. May he rest in peace. The world wont be the same without him.
Albert, I am so sorry for you and your family's loss.

The first time I met Bob, I was immediately struck by his enthusiastic smile and the twinke of contentment in his eyes. This first interaction would go as most would...with Bob showing genuine interst in who I was, what I was doong, and how he could help. If Bob was in the garage or out in the yard (or the neighbour's) you could be certain he would stop what he was doing and amble over for a chat. Our short interactions were rarely that, but I
could never begrudge sharing my time with someone who ALWAYS had time for me.
His generous nature was infectious. Bob did good just by being Bob...by being there to make you feel cared about, heard, and supported.
With Bob's passing, the world is a little less colorful and bright without him and his smile in it. But a bit of Bob lives in all of us who met him. I will be sure to share that joy with those I meet as Bob did, and would have wanted all of us to do.
My heart breaks for all of his friends, and especially his brother Al. Long will I remember, and ALWAYS will I miss seeing Bob as I pull into my driveway. While I did not know him long, I cherish the time we did have. I am as m glad to have been a part of his life as I'm sure he was to be a part of mine.
RIP you gentle giant. Love your neighbours across the street - Ryan, Kerri and Isaac Widdup
Sad to hear the news, he is always happy and cheerful guy. Love to be around with him... missed you Bobby.
It is such sad, shocking news about Bob still cannot believe it. He was an amazing friend of mine for close to 40 years, words cannot describe the friendship we had. I have so many great memories, travelling together, partying together, hockey ,golf, baseball. He was always such a positive friend and showed that personality with everyone he met. Bob always wanted to move to Kelowna and his dreams came true along with his brother Albert. Bob only had a short time there but at least he made it and enjoyed every day he had. Bob will be deeply missed by me and many others. My condolences to Bobs family members and of course his brother Albert whom a consider a special friend and whose life has changed. We will get together many times, share special memories and make some more. My condolences
Albert & Family,
So sad to hear of Bobby's passing, far too soon. He had an infectious smile, always happy when our paths crossed. We ran into each other occasionally at City Hall, he always had time to chat and to share a laugh. Last time we ran into each other was in the LV airport with you, Albert; you were both so excited to hit the strip! I remember too when he was planning to buy the Corvette, his excitement was off the charts to finally get his dream car. Rest peacefully, Bobby, you will be missed.

So very sad to hear of Bob's passing. My sincere condolences to his brother (Albert) and his family. Bob took me under his wing, when I was a young new hire, in what used to be called "Urban Development". He was quite the character. He was funny, always kept things "real", and was a stand up guy. He had a big heart, even though he had a strong (tough) demeanor. I will always cherish the early morning office chats, him sharing pictures of trips, or our conversations about sports, hunting and golf. I often lived through Bob. His inability to be tech savvy will forever be the stuff of legends. Bob was one of the rare souls that actually cared about how others were doing. He always gave me a stern reminder to take care of my wife and kids, as a young husband and father.
Bob, you will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace.

How can one articulate all the great memories over a friendship that spanned over 40+ years? It is with deep sadness & sorrow that we, as his friends and family, have to recount all the wonderful memories of a buddy gone much too soon. Bobby befriended me when I first started working for the City of Calgary in 1981. His kind spirit was clearly evident from our initial conversation. Initially, he was my mentor, guiding me along the way, but we quickly developed a friendship, which I am proud to say, lasted decades - I am truly blessed. That is testament to Bobby as a human being - a kind, caring, and generous person. Over the decades many laughs & good times were shared, along with a few adult beverages along the way. Bobby was always available to lend a hand, give encouragement, and provide a kind word. My family and I were blessed to have Bobby call us friends and we will always be grateful for the friendship we had and the memories created.
Albert and family - our deepest condolences on your loss and we all share in your pain.
Bobby - Rest in peace our friend.

Albert and Family ,so sorry to hear of Bobs passing. I have to share some memories of Bob after living with him as a landlord and roommate in Beddington for about 8 years. You never had to worry about the key in the door waking you up because the rumble of his Camero Z 28 he had warned you 2 blocks away . Never forget when he took me for a first ride in it and he showed me how fast it was and downs the gas pedal. The flaps on the hood open up and he says checking for mail.Thats pretty impressive when your driving a 1988 Delta 88 Oldsmobile as commuter . So being how he loved his cars I asked him if could borrow it for a date and he gave me the keys. Off I went had to tell my date not my car .Bob loved to hunt and I enjoyed days in the field with him and his dad .His xmas cards were always the first in the mailbox signed Bob and Albert and always followed up with a phone call or text. He sent me a text on Dec 23 rd with best wishes for a New Year .
We were lucky enough to have Bob move in next to us when he made his big move to Kelowna. I say lucky because he made an impact on our lives in such a positive way the second we met him.
We were growing our family and had a baby on the way when he rolled into town. He was always there to lend a hand, have a great chat, or keep us company on walks around the neighborhood. He was the light in our day anytime we would see him and felt grateful to have someone we considered a friend live right next door. Bob, we wish you had more time on this earth. Although we didn’t know you for a long time, we were so lucky to have known and had the time that we did with you. We will think of you every time we step out our front door and look over your way hoping to see that smiling face one last time.
To Albert, family and friends, we are so sorry for your loss of such a wonderful human. Our condolences to you all and send our love and strength during this unfortunate time of grief.
Love Katie Ashley and Baby Oaklee
Albert,
I was heartbroken to hear of Bobby's passing. He will always be remembered for his big heart and smile.
The girls always called him Bubble Gum Bobby :) A cute story was the time I said to him that perhaps he could buy the sugar free gum for the kids, and that I could teach him how to get the bubble gum out of the girls long hair. He just twinkled his eyes and smiled, then proceeded to pass the bucket of Double Bubble to the kids.
Albert, my condolences to you and you family at this difficult time.
#44, you will be missed by all

So sad to hear of Bobby K's passing. You became all of our friends at Thomas through Erhardt. We will miss your impromptu visits and how you made us laugh. Our deepest sympathies to Albert and family. You will be missed.
Rest in peace my friend. You will be greatly missed. You will never be forgotten. God,s speed Bobby
So very sad to hear of Bobs passing. My sincere condolences to Albert and family. Bob was one of the first people I met when I started at the City of Calgary in 1982. He was quite the character and enjoyed good light hearted conversations about politics and his sports teams. He was very good hearted and had a kind soul. I was so happy to hear he had gotten a place in Kelowna and settled there. He always planned to retire in the Okanogan to enjoy the warmer climate and lifestyle. Bob, you will be greatly missed my friend. Rest in Peace
I am saddened to hear the news of Bob's passing. I worked with Bob at the City of Calgary for many, many years. My nickname for Bob was Crickley-Dick, cuz is took me years to figure out how to pronounce his last name. :) Rest in Love my friend. You left us far too soon. Love you.
