Linda Galvin, beloved wife of the late Brendan Galvin, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at the age of 80 years, in Calgary, AB. She was born on May 12, 1944, in Picton, ON.
Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, as well as a devoted sister, daughter, and friend. Linda's family was the light of her life, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild. Her love and devotion to her family will never be forgotten.
Linda was predeceased by her husband, Brendan Galvin. She is survived by her daughter, Martine Galvin-Rigley (Michael), grandchildren, Siobhan Galvin-Watts (James Darker) and Brendan Galvin-Rigley; great-grandson Aiden Galvin-Watts, her brother Dave Rorabeck and sister Teina Hill. Linda was also predeceased by her parents, Lorne and Helen Rorabeck; and her sister Lorna Lasher.
"Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away." Linda will be remembered for her kind heart, strong will, and unforgettable presence. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed. May she rest in peace.
