Condolences
Suzanne and the Laird family would like to thank everyone for their condolences.
Barry exemplified everything there was to know about event security. He had a knack of pulling me aside every shift and giving me tips and pointers as to how to improve my craft....he definitely was one of the best in my books. Rest in Peace my friend
I worked with Barry for many years at the Saddledome. A great co-worker and supervisor, always a kind word and quick wit. My condolences to Suzanne, he will be missed. Bill Church

Barry was the best supervisor at the Dome. I also got the pleasure of working with him on Building security. I first met Barry in 1989, when he was with Park Patrol. RIP Barry you will be missed.

I have known Barry most of my life. As a little girl growing up around the Calgary Wranglers. Barry just became an extended family member. I will always remember him for his infectious smile. Rest easy Barry and say hi to Mom for me. On behalf of the entire family we send our condolences to Barry's family and friends during this difficult time.

I remember fondly our times together so many years ago — how he was such a good and caring man and that you were so happy together. Be gentle with yourself as you move through the coming days, and remember you are truly loved by so many. Much love, Penny
