Obituary of Tania Lisa Marie Talbott

Tania Talbott of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at the age of 48 years.

Tania was born in Regina, SK, on November 1, 1975. She moved to Calgary, AB, at a young age, spending time throughout her life in Calgary and the Foothills of Alberta.

As a young woman, Tania spent many years with the Calgary Stampede Show Band, where she enjoyed many adventures sharing her passion and love for percussion. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, and a Bachelor’s in Journalism. Tania will be most remembered for her love of sports, particularly the NFL. Tania enjoyed spending time on the golf course with friends and she also had a passion for travel, sharing many world adventures with Nick.

Tania is survived by her partner Nicholas Harris, her father James Mayhew (Linda) of Foothills, AB, her sister Christine Dix of Black Diamond, AB, and her aunt Mary Simpson (David) of Huntsville, ON. Tania is also survived by her extended family, Dawn Mattis (John) and her children, Chase and Carly (Joshua); Julie Dean-Beld (David) and her children, Easton, Nolan, Lauren, and Peyton; and Karen Sullivan (Rob) and her son Kyle.

Tania was predeceased by her mother Cheryl Mayhew, grandmother Alma Mayhew, and her grandfather Clifford Mayhew.
