Condolences
I was saddened to hear of Grace’s passing. We lived across the street from Grace, John and the girls. The Maxner’s weren’t just our neighbours, they were our friends. I have many fond memories of growing up without a worry. Grace, John and all our parents made sure we were safe and cared about. Grace was a great comfort in later years when Mom and Dad were alone in their house. She always kept an eye on things and helped make sure they were okay. I was grateful for that and happy that I got the chance to tell her so. Her work on earth now done she has rejoined John on the next great adventure. God Bless her and all who mourn her passing. My wife and I offer our condolences and prayers for Kathy, Melanie and families.
My first job in Calgary was at the same bank with Grace,it was also in the same department.
We became friends and remained friends until Grace has gone to her heavenly home.
Grace may you
rest in eternal peace with our heavenly father together with John.
My heart felt condolences to Kathy, Melanie and all the family
Blessings

When I moved to Calgary in 1963, newly married and starting a new job at the Bank in a scary big city, the first people I met were Grace and her tiny daughter Kathy. She worked at the same place and helped me orient myself to my new surroundings. . Her heart was as big as her smile, and we soon became fast friends. As the years passed, John came into her life, then Melanie. From then on, my husband Barry and I, and John and Grace spent many years playing cards and just plain enjoying each others' company. .We all became each others' family.
Grace, be at peace. I will miss you.
With love always,
Elayne D.
