Aleane May Johnson of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024, at the age of 97 years.

Aleane was born in Redcliff, AB, on November 4, 1926. She started her working career at Redcliff Glass Factory and soon joined the Air Force in 1952. After leaving the Air Force, she moved to Calgary and worked for Hornstrom Brothers Construction for many years and later worked for Texaco Oil. Aleane loved to travel, especially to Hawaii, and enjoyed cruise ship adventures.

Aleane will be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Lucille, nephews, Clark and Gary; niece Arlene, and respective families.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Airdrie, 300 Towerlane Drive) on Monday, June 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
