Obituary of Jerry Allen Cousins

January 31, 1939 – Sherbrooke, Quebec

May 25, 2024 – Cochrane, Alberta

Jerry Cousins, beloved husband of the late Marion Cousins, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the age of 85 years, after a long battle with dementia.

Jerry enjoyed hosting family dinners on holidays and Sundays before retiring to Kimberley, BC.

During retirement in Kimberley, Jerry enjoyed golfing, bowling, being active in their church, and attending Kootenay Ice hockey games.

Jerry is survived by his sons, Rod (Michele) and Cam (Debbie); three grandchildren, Jason (Patrick), Breanne (Robert), Samantha (Christof); great-grandson Arwyn, stepson Dan (Brenda), stepdaughter Janet (Gerry), stepdaughter-in-law Nora and their families; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Jerry was predeceased by his wife Marion, parents Edward and Marie; brothers, Ronald and Harold, sister Rita; and his stepson Gary.

As per Jerry’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
