My mother and Susan were great friends. I remember coming over to her house and she would put the sprinkler on under the trampoline and we had such a blast. Susan would take us to lunch and sing us so may wonderful songs. I have so many happy memories of the times I spent with her. My condolences to the whole family.

Hello ! My mom, Karen Nordgaard, met Susan when they were rehab together back in 2020. Mom despised her time there - the days were long - but she was so grateful to know Susan. More than once Mom commented on how much they had in common, and how much she appreciated their friendship. I believe there was a visit or two to the Forest House after that, and Mom enjoyed this time with Susan and Rainer. Please accept my deepest condolences on Susan's passing, and may she and my mom both rest in peace.

We are fortunate to be friends with Susan. She was the first person who welcomed us to the neighborhood.

We had many memorable outings and gatherings with Susan and Reiner. Susan always saw the humorous side of things, such a sunshine to be around. Her talents were numerous, we will miss your yummy baking and will treasure the gifts you knitted and made for us.

We will miss you our friend.
