Obituary of William Patrick Crowchild

William “Will” Crowchild, of Tsuut’ina, AB, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the age of 26 years.

William was born in Calgary, AB, on February 6, 1998, as a member of Tsuut’ina Nation. Will proposed to Talia Bigplume on September 1, 2021.

He worked with Bruce Starlight and Dave Brewer. He enjoyed racing and spending time using his RC cars and trucks, riding his quad, and spending every moment with his family.

Will is survived by his mother Michelle Crowchild, stepdad Dave Brewer, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Curtis Sr. and Lisa Bigplume; brothers, Evan, Jonathan, Patrick, Michael, and Royce; sister Lacey, fiancée Talia Bigplume, and children, Koda, Lisa, Lucy, and Katy; who all reside on Tsuut’ina Nation, AB.

Will was predeceased by his cousins, Jacinda Ray Crowchild and Pheonix Crowchild; father Patrick Crant, aunt Bernadine Crowchild, sister Kaylee Crowchild, grandmother Helen Crowchild, grandparents, Willam and Mary Crant; great-grandparents, Issac and Edith Crowchild; stepbrother David Brewer, and brother-in-law Austin Bigcrow.

Wake Services will be held at the residence of Talia Bigplume and Will Crowchild (#4 North, Sarcee Rd., Tsuut’ina Nation, AB) on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.

Funeral Service will be celebrated at Bullhead Hall (Bullhead Road, Tsuut’ina, AB) on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Tsuut’ina Cemetery (Tsuut’ina Nation, AB). Reception will be held at the residence of Talia Bigplume and Will Crowchild (#4 North, Sarcee Rd., Tsuut’ina Nation, AB) immediately following the graveside.
