Obituary of Phillip Alfred Peterson

December 11, 1948 – Bengough, Saskatchewan

June 4, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

Phillip Peterson, beloved husband of Marie (nee Missere), of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at the age of 75 years.

Born and raised in Bengough, SK, Phill graduated from Ogema High School. He was a self-employed accounting consultant for a small oil company. Outside of work, Phill enjoyed playing hockey and could often be found spending time at the farm, his other passion besides oil and gas. Phill loved golf and would often talk about his hole-in-1 on #12.

His greatest achievements were the birth of his two sons, Timothy and Robin, and his grandson and granddaughters. He loved spending time with his family, whether it was soaking up the sun on family vacations, skiing, or playing cards.

Phillip will be forever remembered by his wife Marie, his sons, Timothy and Robin (Melanie); his grandchildren, Jacob, Scarlett, and Coral; as well as his four brothers, Donald, Wayne (Lois), Jerry (Ione), and Robert (Dalerie); his three sisters, Shirley, Shelley, and Sherry (Rick); sister-in-law Ruby, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Caroline and Arthur, his brother Clayton, brothers-in-law, Earl and Frank; and sister-in-law Karen.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to everyone for their support during this difficult time.

"He has achieved success who has lived well, laughed often, and loved much."

– Bessie Anderson Stanley
