It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Sylvia Anderson on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Born on March 6, 1958, in Melbourne, Australia, Sylvia was known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family, touching the lives of all who knew her.

Sylvia was the beloved wife of Doug Anderson. She is survived by her loving son Billy Peiritsch, her devoted sister Roswitha Peiritsch (Frank Elliott), and her cherished mother Agnes Peiritsch. She was predeceased by her father Johann Peiritsch, and first husband, Dale Johanson. Sylvia was also a wonderful stepmother to Marshall Anderson (Deirdre) and Heather Anderson (Josh Heidebrecht), and a doting grandmother to Zoe, Ewan, Madeleine, Rory, Marcus, Riley, and, of course, her beloved Beagle, Blu. She also leaves behind many dear nieces and nephews who will miss her greatly.

Sylvia had a special love for peonies and anemones, flowers that brought beauty and joy to all who knew her. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
