Obituary of Doris Hollie Bergevin

May 25, 1945 – Gaspe, Quebec

June 6, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta

Doris Hollie Bergevin (nee Langlois), beloved mother and grandmother, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at the age of 79 years. Born in Gaspe, QC, Doris was the daughter of Raymond and Marjorie Langlois.

Doris was a devoted dog foster parent for AARCS and enjoyed a variety of hobbies in her free time, including baking, shopping, playing games on her tablet, and simply sitting on her deck, birdwatching. She achieved many things throughout her life, but her biggest passion was spending time with her family and friends, both near and far.

Doris was predeceased by her late husband Claude, her parents, Raymond and Marjorie Langlois; and her two sisters, Iola and Iris. She is survived by her daughter Judy (Norman and Hunter L.), her two grandchildren, Angela (Luis) and Ashley (Simon); and six great-grandchildren, Brennon, Jakob, Niko, Elliana, Kyron, and Emma. She also leaves behind three of her dearest friends, Linda, Rebecca, and Jim; and her beloved pets, Holly, Buddy, Domino, Tina, Goldie, and Oakley.

Doris will be most remembered for her kind heart and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished by all who knew her.
