Obituary of Jacqueline Reta Carson

Jackie Carson, beloved mother of four sons, peacefully passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the age of 56 years. Born in Hamilton, ON, on January 15, 1968, Jackie was a proud resident of Calgary, AB, at the time of her passing.

Her love for nature was evident in her beautiful home, which was always filled with an abundance of plants and flowers. Jackie also loved spending time outdoors and cherished her memorable vacation trips to Kananaskis Country and Bragg Creek.

Jackie was the mother to her four beloved sons, Brad Carson, Ricky Bourassa, René Bourassa, and Robert Bourassa. Her children were her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

She was predeceased by her children’s father Rick Bourassa, two sons, Brad Carson and Ricky Bourassa, and her pet Chico. She will be dearly missed by her three brothers, Stanley Carson, Scott Hannivan, and Christopher Wolf, as well as her mother Christine Hannivan.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to all those who offered their support during this difficult time.

Jackie will be most remembered for her infectious laugh and smile that could light up the moon. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Monday, July 8, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW, Calgary, AB) on Monday, July 8, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Rocky View Garden of Peace. Reception to follow at Hotel Riviera (3515 - 26 street NE, Calgary, AB) at 2:00 p.m.

Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Miss Carson’s service streamed live (see link below) on the day of the service.
