Unfortunately, I never got the chance to meet Dale, but have known Lorna for many years so I know what a beautiful, amazing, and strong soul she is. Reading all the memories about Dale and how it sounds like he lived life to the absolute fullest, it is truly wonderful that they were to meet, fall in love, and have, albeit way too short, a life together. May you rest forever in peace Dale and when my time comes, I will definitely look you up!! Big hugs and love to my dear friend Lorna, my deepest condolences to you and your family xxx
I have played hockey with Yak for years! Great guy, always joking around and the life of the dressing room! He will be sorely missed by our hockey league and the oil patch community in general! RIP Yak! Mike Kenyon
Sending love and light to Dale's family and friends, and most especially Lorna, for the loss of a BIG light in all of their lives. The time that we spent with Dale was always positive, he was always positive, and he spread that love to everyone, wether he knew you well, or just met you. May we all continue to spread the same love and light that he shared with all of us. He is missed by all who knew him, and will always be remembered, in the hearts of those who loved him.
I wasn’t a close confident of Dale’s, got to know him after he became part of the downtown oilfield. Whenever you ran into Dale he had time for a chat, and you always came away feeling better about life and yourself. His charisma is legendary and he will be missed by all that knew him. Dale was one of “THE GOOD GUYS” i count myself lucky to have known him. RIP.
Sincere condolences to Lorna and Dale’s family. A gentleman and a more kind and generous man can’t be found. We love you Dale and Lorna and will never forget our times together. Blessings to this family during this time of huge loss.
My condolences to Dale's family. Had the privilege to know Dale through the Oil Patch and Hoser Hockey. Thinking of him now brings a smile to my face and laughter in my heart. He will be missed.

My deepest sympathy to Dales’ s family. Dale was an awesome guy, as you all know. Dale went out of his way to be helpful. He was very funny and down to earth. Dale will be missed by many. RIP Dale.
Had to go to my old hockey programs to see the pictures of Dale.I am so sorry for your loss.I keep talking about what a great player he was.But more than that he was loved in the community. He will never be forgotten. I am just shocked we are the same age and I just thought he was a great leader and human being. I'm so sorry.
As others have stated, I saw Dale play many games in Milwaukee and am shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. He was my friend Steve’s favorite Admiral and now they are both gone. God’s Blessings and condolences to Dale’s family and friends.
Dale and I were in high school together and I watched him play hockey several times, I have fond memories of him and thinking of him makes me smile. My sincere condolences to Dale's entire family.

I didn't know Dale personally but I screamed my lungs out supporting him and his Admirals teammates. You were and will always be a hero to many people in Milwaukee and Wisconsin.

I am missing you.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I have not seen Dale in a long time but when he was here in Milwaukee it was great to know him l. Loved watching him play, maybe a few drinks were consumed, I’m sure my mom (Mary OHalloran) is making him some hots up there.
Again so sorry for your loss.
I was saddened to hear the passing of Dale. I was fortunate enough to play withYak in junior. There was never a dull moment when he was around. And especially when we were on the ice. We were all fortunate to have the same colour jersey on as him. Although we didn’t see each other much over the years he left a lasting impression on me that I will never forget. He will be dearly missed. My sincere condolences to the family.

I was fortunate to have met Dale in the latter portion of his years when I was living in Salmon Arm B.C. and when I was a member at Hyde Mountain. He was a hell of a golfer and club champ, with a personality and sense of humor beyond reproach. I was informed of his passing recently by Sonny Jager and was shocked and regretful that in our busy lives I was unable to enjoy his presence again of which was always a pure delight. I'll always remember Dale as an extremely generous and offering individual, with a huge heart for all he touched. Rest in peace my brother. I miss you, as I'm sure is echoed by anybody who knew you . Also, to whom it may concern if you choose, and there will be a celebration of life, it would be my honor to attend if possible.
Sincerely, Don Maynard.
It was an honour to feature him on my YouTube channel as we wanted to celebrate him as what many people called him - an IHL legend and a great and dedicated player...
Prayers to his friends and family, but as we know heaven can always use another power forward when Peter gets a road hockey game together...we have lost many great hockey players recently and he will be remembered...
Blessings
