Obituary of Pritpal Singh Dhaliwal

With deepest sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of Pritpal Dhaliwal, on Friday, June 7, 2024, at the age of 60 years, in his home.

Pritpal was born on February 1, 1964, in the Moga district of Punjab, India. He immigrated to Canada in 1987, at the age of 23, to make a better life for his family. He was an incredibly hard worker, running a liquor store for over 20 years; a store he named after his kids.

He was a nature lover who enjoyed walks, bicycling, and camping.

Pritpal is survived by his parents Balvir and Jaswant; his sisters Kuldeep, Kamal, and Manjit; and his children Pardeep and Jasmin; as well as a large extended family and circle of friends. He was predeceased by his dear wife Mohinder.

He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McInnis & Holloway (Calgary Crematorium, 3219 – 4th Street NW, Calgary, AB, within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Sunday, June 16, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Calgary Crematorium, 3219 – 4th Street NW, Calgary, AB, within the valley of Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at 12:00 p.m.
