It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jim “Jimmie” Dengler, who left us peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at the age of 77 years.

Jim was a cherished family man and a devoted friend, known for his love of camping, and the joy he found in his grandchildren. His passion for the great outdoors, particularly camping, was matched only by his love for his family. He created countless memories with his grandchildren and could often be found cheering them on at their extracurricular activities. Jim has passed on his love for nature and adventure to the next generation. His warmth, generosity, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

For the past 25 years, Jim shared a deep and loving companionship with his common-law wife, Roberta (Bobbi) Terakita, who stood by his side through life's many adventures and challenges.

Besides his common-law wife, Jim is survived by his beloved children, Aaron (Kathleen) Dengler, Laurie Dengler, and Michelle (Nathan) Ralph.  Jim is also survived by his two brothers, Peter Dengler (sister-in-law Diane) and Bob Dengler. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Taylor, Gracie, Jaxon, Harrison, Hope, Lilly, Linkin, Nixon, and Ivy, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

Jim was predeceased by his loving parents, Frank and Mary Dengler, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.

Jim will be laid to rest alongside his parents in Estevan, SK, a place close to his heart.

Rest in peace, Jim. Your love and light will forever guide us, and your memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know you.
