Condolences
To the Park Family,
you have my most heartfelt condolences. What you said and did today to honour your Son, Dad and Papa was a wonder. The gift of loving and conveying information verbally has not missed or skipped any generation, nor will it stop being passed down, I expect. I assume Greg would take great delight in knowing that. He was good, he did good, he changed lives- I know he changed mine. Rest easy boss, thanks for the pepper.
My time with Greg was short but oh so memorable as a motorcycle instructor. He and Vince and Bill (now my husband) ran the Calgary Harley Davidson Motorcycle School and the patience they had with us as naive students was immense. Greg was there the day that I passed my license exam and I couldn't help but hug the biggest teddy bear that stood on the lot with me that day. His support, compassion, smile and empathy has stuck with me for over 20 years! And while brief our encounter, it has impacted my heart and soul today. You will be greatly missed Greg!!
We were so very sorry to hear of the passing of Greg. We have lived one door down from Joyce and Greg for many years and thoroughly enjoyed our visits with the two of them. Greg had us in tears laughing about so many things and we already miss looking across the back yard to see him sitting on the deck with his mom. Sending our very deepest sympathy to Joyce and all the family and we know Greg will be sadly missed by all his family and all who knew him.
Greg,,,, Thank you for everything you have done to help make us who we are all today. I have cried and laughed at all your stories and even when i heard it for the 10th time i hung on every word like it was the first time hearing it. Long Roads Deep Tanks Lost Causes My Brother. I will ride with you again brother.
It was a sad day when I read about Greg! He was always so full of life and laughter. Always a kind word to everyone. Too young to leave this world. My heartfelt condolences to Greg’s family. He will be missed!

I am so grateful for knowing Greg. He was a great mentor to me as a young Detective, he shared his gift of treating everyone with respect. Rest in Peace Greg, you left an incredible legacy with the impact you had on so many of us. You are missed.
Greg… my friend… our friend, our family. Thank you for so many memories growing up. As a child growing up, Greg was always there. A part of so many memories for me. Always there telling stories with my dad, Vince, the two of them clamouring to tell the next line in something they’d done. I just remember always, always laughter. I am so thankful that I will always have those memories to look back on. I love you Greg.
I had the honor and privilege to work with Greg as a partner for many years, he was my partner and dear friend, as stated by many there are not enough words to describe him, he will be dearly missed, deepest condolences to family and friends, RIP Greg, we will remember you.
I was lucky to meet Greg during the early of my service with the CPS. He was the mentor to those that were mentoring me, and was revered for his sensibilities, and his sense of humour, which always sucked all the air out of any room he entered! His nickname ‘Aardvark’ always stuck with me! He was a great cop and a great man! God’s speed Greg!

On behalf of the Calgary Police Rugby Club May I offer our Condolences on the passing of a good man. You always knew when Greg was about…..although his singing voice was another thing. He certainly left his mark as a good man upon us all, may he Rest in Peace for all Eternity in the Arms of Our Lord.
Safe journey home my Brother, until we all meet again at that great Rugby Club in the sky.
There is no other word that can adequately describe Greg other than ‘Legend’. He was one of those people you are lucky to meet only once or twice in a lifetime and the memory of them stays with you long after they have ridden off this Earth. As my Sergeant he spoiled me with what a leader should and could be. Most others that followed in my career could only dream of the loyalty and respect that Greg garnered throughout his lifetime. My deepest sympathies to Greg’s family and friends
