David Siegler of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024, at the age of 36 years.

A gentle soul known for his kindness, David cherished his family deeply, always ensuring they knew they were loved. He had a profound bond with his mother, affectionately calling her "mommy" into his adult years.

David's artistic soul found solace in the beauty of the outdoors, in the company of animals, and under the night sky, which he admired with the eye of an astronomer. His interests in art, drawing, animals, the outdoors, nature, and astronomy were not mere pastimes, but rather, a reflection of his profound adoration for the earth's inherent beauty and its myriads of living creatures.

David will be deeply missed by his mother Shelly Gerlitz, and stepfather Peter Gerlitz, who provided him with love and support throughout his life; his two children, Janelle and Destin, who he loved deeply; and his brother Christopher, who he shared a special bond with that was unbreakable. He was also a beloved grandchild to Pat Wright, and Lyle and Pat Gerlitz.

In remembering David, let us celebrate his passion for nature, his talent for art, and his unwavering love for his family. May his kind spirit and cherished memories bring comfort to all those whose lives he touched.

A private visitation was held on Friday, June 21, 2024, at McInnis & Holloway Funeral Home. A private Celebration of Life has taken place to honor David.
