Obituary of Donald (Don) Bedford Joslin
December 14, 1936 – Spruce Lake, Saskatchewan
June 29, 2024 – Calgary, Alberta
Don Joslin, beloved husband of Lillian Joslin, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at the age of 87 years, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
He spent his whole career in the oil patch, working in Canada, Australia, and Indonesia. In his spare time, Don enjoyed golfing, camping, boating, and playing cribbage. He was also an avid sports fan, with a particular fondness for boxing, and the latest news.
Don will be most remembered for his devotion to his family, and his determination in the face of adversity. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter, Donna (Justin) Ryan, son Chris (Erin) Joslin, four grandchildren, Maya Ryan, Nicholas Ryan, Cade Joslin, and Shae Joslin; as well as his brother Wayne.
Don was predeceased by his father William, mother Alice Irene (Rainbow), sister Wilma, and brother Herb.
As per Don’s wishes, no formal service will be held.
