Condolences
It's so hard to write a memoriam for someone who was so important and beautiful to all our lives over the years. Someone who endured much hardship over the years to end up being such a strong positive influence in our lives. Tillie, we wish you were still here so we can continue sharing our wonderful relationship with you. What remains are those beautiful memories of the times we spent together as a family. Visiting with you and Bev and Dwayne in Calgary, also at the Rimrock in Banff with most of your family, your 80th birthday in Victoria, the times in Kelowna, etc. Those moments are imprinted in our lives forever, mostly because you also were so fun to be with. We shared so many good times together. We'll never laugh so hard again. More importantly, we'll always remember how you genuinely cared about everyone - especially my Mom, your sister Cassie. With extreme sadness, we all express our condolences to all those who loved Tillie Medwid (nee Korchak) Our forever love to this beautiful, kind wonderful woman. We will miss you. We will always love you, your nephew - Clarence + (Monica)
Both Roger and I are saddened by Aunt Tillies passing. She was a warm spirit, always very generous when we would come to visit her from Winnipeg, rolling out the best to ensure we were comfortable and of course fed. She has the best perogy dough recipe by the way.
When mum and her would get together they had a mischievous about them, and could easily stay up till 3 am talking and "wipe away tears" laughing. Coffee was usually near by. Our family is smaller now, these women, considered to be from the greatest generation. They were great ambassadors on how to rise above it all, with a quiet dignity. Our love and condolences.

Grandma Tillie, I will miss you and your stories. Whenever Jackie and I came for a visit we had to grab Popeyes Chicken as it was your favorite. I remember sleepovers as a kid with pizza and movies in our pajamas. Hand hockey in your basement. Once I got older, you taught me how to make genuine Ukranian perogies and cabbage rolls. Thank you for teaching me and always being there. I love you grandma
