We have fond memories of Nick who livid in our neighborhood and his son Grant who was best friends with our son David. Nick was a very active participant in a number of community activities and could always be found at the arena or ball fields. Our deepest condolences to the Kono family. Charlotte & Lou Campana

Sad to hear of Mr. Konno's passing. I played baseball growing up in Summerland and he was an umpire at many of my games. He and my dad were friends and both were active in Summerland Minor Baseball in the late 70s/80s. Sincere condolences to the family. -Patrick Selby

What a moving tribute to a truly wonderful man! He was so kind. We will miss him. I always loved seeing him smile, and how much he enjoyed watching the boys play. You could always find Nick and Marie at a field or a rink!
